As you will have seen in the notice circulated to members in the Asia Region, there has been a tie in the election of the International Advisory Board (IAB) Asian Representative. The IUGA Board has decided to hold a run-off election between the two candidates who tied:
Masayama Koyama of Japan, and,
Tsia Shu Lo of Taiwan

Voting will begin December 2, 2015 and will continue until December 21, 2015 - 11:59 PM EST.
To review the role of the International Advisory Board Asian Representative, as stated in the IUGA By-Laws, please visit: http://www.iuga.org/?page=documents (you will need to log-in to the Members’ Only section of the website) and select ‘IUGA By-Laws’ under the heading ‘Society Documents’. Information for this position can be found in Article XII – International Advisory Board.
NOTE: For each candidate you will find a link to their curriculum vitae and a completed Relevant Disclosure Declaration highlighted under their name. Their photo, and a statement prepared explaining why they would like to serve in this position can be accessed by clicking the orange word ‘details’ to the right of each candidate’s name.
The IUGA Board has decided that candidates will be allowed to canvas other members for votes and to campaign for election. However, in keeping with the IUGA By-Laws, IUGA office staff will not provide assistance to any candidate.
We are using an independent online ballot service provider, Votenet. Ballot processing is independent of the IUGA office or Board. Thank you for participating in this important process to identify IUGA’s volunteer leadership!
